A swimming pool is a welcome addition to any residence. It provides an area for relaxation and enjoyment. It is a venue of fun as well as a means to exercise. Without adequate safeguards, however, a pool can also be dangerous, especially to young children.
NSW has come up with stringent rules when it comes to swimming pool. After numerous incidents involving little children, the State passed laws to make sure that pools are well-protected to prevent any untoward incidents. One such measure that is put in place is the construction of fences surrounding the pool to prevent children from wandering aimlessly to the water.
